Where Your Thoughts Belong

~ This short poem is dedicated to all you aspiring and budding young minds out there with new ideas and thoughts that might change the world. I just want to let you all know that you don’t have to hide what you think and what you believe in. It makes you special and you should proudly bestow upon us your words and your wisdom because I believe everyone of us has a writer inside of us who struggles to express itself. Hope you enjoy it! ๐Ÿ’œ ~

Do you see that stack of paper lying under your bed?
And the other scattered sheets on your study that are drenched red?
Are you worried about the words that keep dripping from your head?
Or about the thoughts that are still stuck inside, the ones you think are better left unsaid?
Are you worried that your ideas might pull on the lifelines of the world?
Maybe you’re worried about what voicing them is even worth?
After all, you’re just a tiny resident of our small planet earth,
Whose voice was labelled worthless even before its birth.
But dear oh dear you are so beautifully wrong.
Out in the open is where all your thoughts and words belong.
So next time you step out of your house, let your ideas come along.
It’s time you let the world know that you’ve been the strongest all along.
Witness the hurricane that you’ve been hiding within come alive,
And don’t try to stop it this time,
Just let it grow and thrive.
Let it cause destruction and destroy the society as you know it.
Because it will build for you a new planet in which you truly and in all sense fit.
