A Disastrous Piece of Art

I’m a disastrous piece of art,
a mystery that lurks in the dark.
I’m made of sparkling rainbow drops
that have caressed my blank canvas sheet.
Watch me from afar, and you’ll never see me.
Come closer if you want to drown in my beauty.
There’s chaos in my colours
and power in my patterns.
Put me on display for I am catastrophic.
I can speak without words and see without eyes.
I can hear your shallow heartbeat and all your hidden lies.
Touch my skin and feel the heat it gives.
I can help you tame the animal that within you lives.
Pick up the palette and the paint,
colour the lifeless world around you.
Use your brush to add life,
and with each stroke, you’ll see the light.

  1. Wow Maggie…. Just wow. I am stunned. I just loved it. It’s beautiful poem and well written. I can visualize the thoughts poured in its lines and lookslike a serious hidden talent inside you. Keep up the outstanding work.

KUDOS to for your lines and Killer in the Performance. 👌
